1/144 RGZ 95C Rezel Type C Defenser; Assembling (Part 2)

After a few days of delay only recently I managed to continue on with my Rezel.

1/144 Rezel Unit

Almost done

This model kit, is seriously tough and not that simple to be build. It looks simple by just following instruction manual but to give the detailing was simply time consuming and tough.

The thrusters are the reason behind the tough job.

Rezel Unit Thrusters

These bad ass looking thrusters gives you a hard time

Rezel Gold Plated Afterburner

Supposed to be in white. Ran out of white spray. Settled with gold leaf Tamiya Spray paint.

As for the after side afterburner, it actually comes in with a white colour sticker. I don’t exactly recommend to use that sticker since it still left some small gap in between. It is kind of annoying when you see that tiny gap.

The rifle, looks to plain. So I decided to settled it with white Gundam Marker paint. Took me several layers to make it more natural look.

Rezel Unit Canon

See that white hydraulic tube…? That gave me a hard time too…

For a 1/144 scale, this unit decals are just totally neat. You can see the Beam Launcher labeled clearly in the picture below.

Rezel Launcher Markings

The markings looks great. No complains on this one.

Rezel Incomplete Mega Beam Launcher

The incomplete Rezel Mega Beam Launcher.

The almost complete Mega Beam Launcher. Overall, I have to say, this kit is real challenging and exciting to be assembled. But it has its bad side too. Especially the white colour sticker which was supposed to stick right at the side and inside of the after burner on its jet pack. That particular part was such a bugger. It still has some gap to it no matter how hard you try to make it look good.

I used the alternative by replacing it with gold plated golden leaf colour Tamiya Spray paint and used the Double OO Gundam marker pen. Looks good by the end of the day. Other than that, the rest are all just fine.
