1/144 Delta Plus HGUC

The 1/144 Delta Plus HGUC line is what I have been aiming for quite some time now. At first I was contemplating on grabbing the MG but somehow, I changed my mind on leaving the MG out. First of all, it feels more fragile handling the MG since it is transformable. For an MG, gimmicks are great but it just feels not right to it. Then again, for a 1/144 scale, transformation can be pretty tedious too.

But anyways, here is a glimpse and my feedback on it…

HG 1/144 Delta Plus

Delta Plus 1/144 still half way through. For a normal 1/144 scale, normally small pieces such as the white parts as shown in this photo, is not painted. You will need to do it on your own.

As I was building it halfway through, I noticed its detailing level was almost the same to the RG. Another great kit from the UC lines series for a 1/144 scale.

Almost there. What is left, are its weapon, beam saber and rifle plus wing.

And here you have it, the HG 1/144 Delta Plus. Should I say am I happy with the 1/144 scale? In way, yes I am! But I do admit, due to the scarcity of materials in where I live in, the color for Delta Plus is hard to find. Common basic colors such as Gold, Silver, Yellow, Red, Blue and Black are much easier.

Finally, done. Overall, this model kit its very straightforward and easy to build.

Another great model kit for display. This unit looks good on a Gunpla display stand or event for a diorama.

Here is an up close look on the Delta Plus. Only a small part of the Beam Rifle requires a little bit of paint job.

And finally it is done. The Delta Plus, despite its 1/144 size, you will find it great in every ways. What I love most will be its visor, shield and the joints on its leg. Ever since during the released of UC series, most of the model kit joints are becoming more flexible compared to the earlier models of 1/144 scale.
