Folks! Let us take you back into time, where there was once a family, like no other during the stone age era. Let us welcome, The Croods. Let us pay a visit to them and let us see what was life like with them this week, shall we?
It all started out with Eep. Eep, was a young and strong teenage girl. Unlike her father, Eep had a better perspective view of the world. She was filled out of curiosity and loves new environment.
Meet Grug. Head of the family, a pack leader, superstitious, caring, loving, strict and over protective most of the time. To Grug, anything that was new or never been seen considered as dangerous and no one was allowed to be near it. Whenever Eep tried to explain and convinced her father that the world was not so bad, he totally disagreed. Seeing how the rest of the cavemen family extinct due to diseases and got eaten by some wild beast, her father started to become even more protective. To him, being under a cave was the safest spot.
And this was the rest of the family. Ugga, Eep’s mother, Sandy her little sister, Thunk her brother and the old lady there was her grandmother.
What was their daily life like? First thing in the morning was breakfast. Once the world started to get dark, it was curfew time for them. During the night, Grug will tell them stories based on the painting he made.
Guy was Eep’s boyfriend. His name was really Guy. Why? Don’t ask cause that was his name. Guy was a guy who had different ideas. He was more exposed to a near Flinstones technology. He knew to how create fire, shoes and sandals, and lots more.
Well that was all about it when it comes to The Croods. The entire whole movie was very well told. Even the character development was amazing. What I really loved in this movie was how the entire whole storyline told. It represented family values, team work, and the importance of learning something new in life.
Not only the movie was good. Even its ending theme was sang by a Malaysian singer, Yuna who is now and international artist. She was working with Owl City for the theme Shine Your Way.
In conclusion to this entire whole stunningly produced movie, The Croods was a very welcoming movie to begin with. For those of you who have yet to watch this movie, I say this movie is not to be missed. Its concept, artwork and storyline, everything is so different.
